ABOUT

The Walnut Maison is a Gite located in the rural areas of Bordeaux, France.  Surrounded by beautiful vineyards and breathtaking views, the Gite is a lovingly restored barn with beautiful exposed oak beams and stonework.

PROJECT BRIEF

The owners requested a website to attract visitors to the Gite, knowing full well that a strong on-line presence was essential in bringing in new holiday makers looking to vacate abroad.  The site needed to promote the sense of a ‘relaxing break’ and provide visitors with a full experience of what the Gite had to offer not only in-house but around the local area too.

PROJECT SOLUTION

We provided a website that has a simple and effective navigational structure to aid the user experience.  The design was created to provide the atmospheric feeling the owners were after which helps the users to feel what life is like in this Gite in France.   We were aware of the need to provide a factual, informative website to draw the user in quickly with the design and then to guide them through the site easily to provide them with all they need to know in a few clicks.
