ABOUT
Jafran has been a popular Indian restaurant since 2000 and is situated in Broadwater in Worthing, West Sussex.
PROJECT BRIEF
Jafran required a website to promote their Indian restaurant in a professional and modern manner. The site needed a design to reflect the culture and ambience of their restaurant with appropriate imagery to compliment the food the restaurant serves. An essential function was to integrate a user-friendly menu area for customers to download a copy of the in-house menu, and to be able to look through the dishes on offer from within the website itself.
PROJECT SOLUTION
We spent a lot of initial time working closely with the owner to get an understanding of the restaurants ethos to make sure we came up with a design that complemented the dining experience that they offered. It was important to bring in the cultural elements, which we achieved with graphics spread around the site. Attention was given to developing a menu area which was easy on the eye, easy to navigate and very user-friendly. The final result was a site that mirrored the experience a diner receives from Jafran and the owner was delighted with the results.
